Cats Conkers Boarding Cattery

Outstanding! My elderly cat's first stay here - accommodation so clean and warm with a choice of places to sleep / perch (toys provided). She ate well, was given medication daily, was groomed and very well looked after. I really felt Lynn had taken the trouble to get to know her during her stay and I have made a further booking.

Very friendly and extremely helpful. Definatly recommended

Vets

Medivet Carterton - Jackson Vets

41 Alvescot Rd, Carterton OX18 3JN, UK – 01993 842717

Early days for us with the new take over by Medivet but they seem nice people and can't complain so far. Staff are helpful with the admin and forms for PetPlan.

Very friendly staff. They look after house pets big and small and offer a very friendly service. Like all vets, they are expensive, but the cost is worth it for the treatment and good service they provide. Comfortable waiting area and they sell a small range of other pet products.

Carterton Veterinary Surgery

12, Broadshires Way, Carterton OX18 1AD, UK – 01993 764262

Being owners of 3 dogs we have been so pleased with the service that Carterton Vets offer. We were originally with one of the other vets in the middle of Carterton but our big dog became very poorly very quickly last year and we went to them for help, they were 10 minutes from closing for a Bank Holiday day and they did nothing more than take his temperature, tell us he was very poorly and direct us to go to the animal hospital in Woodstock. In a bit of a panic trying to save the life of our dog we rang Carterton Vets, who despite not knowing him, told us to take our dog straight there, took bloods, waited for the results and then offered immediate life saving care. They too were due to close but remained open to save our boy. Ever since that time we have received excellent, friendly, incredibly professional and further life prolonging care for our dogs. Unfortunately we have recently lost him after almost a further full year of life but he received the highest standard of care throughout his prolonged illness and ultimately was cared for incredibly well right through to the end and afterwards. This is the most professional and caring vets we could have hoped for and we highly recommend them!

Fantastic staff, really friendly and helpful. The Pet Health Club is fab, really worth joining! The surgery is clean and always smells good :-)
